What are the requirements to complete the course?

The course consists of 12 theory modules with questions at the end of each module, and 12 practical photo projects. You must complete all the modules by answering the questions for each theory module and complete the 12 photo projects by uploading them for your tutor to mark. You can study the modules in any order you prefer but we would suggest that the theory modules be completed in sequence. The practical photo assignments can be completed in any order that you prefer, as we appreciate that you may wish to wait for a special time or location to fulfill an assignment brief. Your scores will be recorded as you work through the modules and can be seen by you in the grades area of the site at any time.

Do I need any other equipment to take the course?

Apart from your digital camera you will need a computer/tablet to get the best from the course. To view and edit your photos and keep them organised there are some free software apps like Google's Picasa Photo editing software. Don't worry if you've not used Photo editing software before, they all have great hints and tips to help you get started. If you already have a programme like Photoshop or Lightroom then that's perfect for the course as well.
